William J. "Bill" Dotson, age 28, a resident of Thompson, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013, at home. He was born January 18, 1985 in Painesville, to Bonnie Hutson and William Dotson.
Bill worked for his father's construction business. He enjoyed video games, working out and cooking. He loved to gaze at the night sky, and had an interest in computer programming.
He is survived by his parents, Bonnie (Robert) Sheid of Painesville, and William Dotson of Thompson; brothers, Jeremiah Dotson of Fairport Harbor, Michael Dugan of Painesville; sister, Gabrielle King of Mentor-on-the-Lake; Maternal Grandfather, James (Barbara) Hutson of Maryland; maternal step grandfather, Robert Sava Sr. of Salem, OH; aunts, Candee Dotson of Thompson, Sharon Benadum of Painesville, Joan (Joe) Brown of Painesville, Rhonda Killian of Georgia, Jessica (Matt) Lidner of South Carolina, Nicki (Jeff) Schafer of S. Euclid, Amanda (Web) Jones of South Korea; uncles, Ralph Bredon of Mentor, James (Julie) Hutson of Maryland, and Robert Sava Jr. of Lakewood.
He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick Dugan; aunt, Sandi Reed; paternal grandparents, William and Maxine Dotson; maternal grandmother, Mary Sava.
There will be a Celebration of Bill's Life from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Stratton Place, 33 East Main, Madison, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the family.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
