Gange, William B. born July 22, 1933 in Newark, NJ, passed away November 16, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Bill is preceded in death by his son Billy and survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Margaret, his daughters Jackie and Michelle, his grandchildren Alex, Danielle and Billy, his mother Nancy DelSordo, his sister Joy Perillo, as well as many other loving relatives and friends – all of whom will miss him tremendously.
Bill retired as a Colonel in the US Army in 1981 after 26 years of honorable service. Bill and his family have made their home in Clearwater, Fl since his discharge from the US Army. Bill subsequently worked as a procurement agent for the Pinellas County Sheriff's office for 18 years, until his retirement in 2003. Bill was a graduate of Seton Hall University and received a Master's degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
For everybody that knew him, Bill has always been that special kind of guy that you conversationalist with an always looked forward to spending time with. A great exceptional sense of humor. Conversation with Bill was always so engaging because, you always had the feeling that nothing was more important to him, or more enjoyable, than the time he was spending with you in the moment. That's why he brought so many smiles, to so many of us, over so many years. And why we will all continue to smile, every time we think of him.
The Gange family invites family and friends to share in a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Attention Home, 2995 Union Street, Clearwater FL 33759.
