Sandy Press, 60 of Bay Village passed away, Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her home. Sandy was born June 6, 1952 in Cleveland, had a Masters degree in education and worked for the Cleveland Public Schools for 30 years, finishing her career as a principal.

Sandy gave selflessly and made it her mission to be a voice for the voiceless. She was an active volunteer and foster parent for the Friendship Animal Protective League and P.A.W.S. Animal Rescue.

Sandy is survived by her sister Barb Press Leffel of Huntsburg, OH and nephew Benjamin Leffel of Washington, DC. Other survivors include Cheryl Schlunt, her cherished Best Friend, and dearest buddy Derek Schlunt of Avon, and her dogs Celie and Poppy and cats Fred and Evie.

A Memorial Pack Walk will be Saturday, December 8 at 2pm at Bradley Park, Wolf and Bradley Roads, Bay Village. All dogs are welcome and appreciated.
