Robert J. Gaydash, age 71, a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home. He was born September 2, 1941 in Elyria to the late John and Ethel (nee Shipka) Gaydash.
A 1959 graduate of North Ridgeville High School, Bob was the owner and operator of Gaydash Refinish Supply Company, North Ridgeville, for 40 years. He was a member of Fields United Methodist Church and the Elyria Elks Lodge. In his free time, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an antique car enthusiast. He will be remembered as a hard working, friendly and thoughtful person.
Survivors include his son, Ryan C. Gaydash of North Ridgeville; sisters, Bernice Kammiller of Wadsworth, Arlene Dunham, Roberta Gaydash and Jean (Joseph) Williams, all of North Ridgeville.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce presiding. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
