Richard Charles Coy, 50, of Diamond, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center.

He was born November 1, 1962 in Ravenna, to Robert and Eleanore (Clark) Coy. Rick was a beloved and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard working man, and a generous friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and being outdoors. He enjoyed life with his family and touched them with his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Brode) Coy, whom he married on October 16, 2009; children, Audrey, Christina, Richard, John, Jessica, Carolyn, Terrence and Cortney; grandchildren, Richard, Braydon, Alyssa, Noah and Liam; parents, Robert and Eleanore Coy; four sisters; five brothers;. He was preceded in death by one sister.

Calling hours will be held 3-5 PM Tuesday, January 15th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, where funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM.
