Ray D. Lawver, age 60, resident of Madison, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born July 3, 1952.
He retired after 30 years from the former King Musical Instruments, and was a member of the US Air Force. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a member of the VFW post 6846 in Geneva.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Kyle Lawver; father, Ray M. Lawver of Madison; brothers, Terrance (Sandy) of Saybrook, Darrell (Valerie) of Mentor, Victor (Wanna) of Painesville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Lawver.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 2-5 p.m., at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041, where military rights will be performed at 5 p.m. by Geneva VFW post 6846. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.
