Randy Lee Woolwine, of Oceana died , Monday, January 28, 2013 in Huntington, after a hard fought battle with lung cancer.
He was born September 25, 1955 in St. Albans, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Dearing; grandparents (adoptive parents), Thomas and Nora Woolwine; wife, Juanita; and brother, James Dearing.
Randy loved spending time with his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf and never missed an opportunity to go fishing. He spent 39 years working in the trucking industry. Many of those years as a long distance truck driver. Randy ended his career in July, after becoming ill, as the Regional Sales Manager for Premier Transportation.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy "Carol"; daughters, Nora Smith and husband, Jamey, Anita Sizemore and husband, Roy, Dorraine Maddy and husband, Robert; Chevelle Gibson and husband, Ronnie Jessie; and Tiffany Howard and companion, Adrain Brown; brother, Larry Woolwine; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Randy Lee Woolwine will be held 2:00PM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Glen Cook officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service at the funeral home.
