Harris, Ora A., affectionately known to all as "Granny", 92, of Henrico, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert L. Harris. Their devotion and love for one another so strong that they share the same date of birth and passing. Ora is survived by her daugter, Gearline A. Fowler; sons, Robert A. Harris (Reba), Charles M. Harris and Edward D. Harris (Bea); grandchildren, Linda F. Nelms, Ann Marie Nelms, Aaron R. Nelms (Sharon), Lorie A. Wray (Darryl), Michael D. Harris, Steve R. Harris (Nancy), Christopher Harris, Kimberly Bakken (Eric), Amy Daly (Tom); twelve great-grandchildren and brothers, Charles R. Turner (Betty) and Glen M. Turner (Frances). Ora worked for Peoples Drug Store for many years. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
