Joyce Seese, 96, of Ravenna, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at her residence.
She was born September 13, 1916 in Ashtabula, to Neal and Wave (Bricher) Fassett. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Joyce was an avid reader, loved crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by son, Jon (Ludovica) Weaver of Lake Butler, FL; daughter, Judith (Robert) Hayden of Ravenna; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Seese; parents, Neal and Wave Fassett; sisters, Daphne Fassett, Adele Fassett Collier and Barbara Fassett Wickham.
Calling hours will be held 12-2 PM Saturday, January 19 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, where funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19 with Rev. Douglas Denton officiating.
