BATJIAKA, James S., 80, of Tampa, Florida passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Son of Steve and Cecile Batjiaka Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sylvia; two sons, Bryon (his wife, Sandra) and Sean (his wife, Sabra); grandson, Ian; and brothers, John and Paul. He was preceded in death by his brother George. From Woodsville, New Hampshire to world traveler, James earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, served in the U.S. Air Force, lived in South America, worked for Panagra Airways primarily in Peru. Returning to the U.S. and the Caribbean worked as Vice President of Sales for H.B. Fuller, but above all, was a loving family man. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, Temple Terrace. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Tampa.
