Hattie "Snookie" Burge, 70 of Waldo, Arkansas died Monday, January 7, 2013 at the
Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
She was born August 15, 1942 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Arlis and Dollie Bammah (Elmore) Gray. Snookie enjoyed life, gardening and the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years David Burge of Waldo; sons John W. Burge (Tonja Kelly) of Magnolia and Bo Burge of Magnolia; daughters Tracy Fronko (Joe) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Toni Burge (Brad Martin) of Magnolia; grandchildren Ross Burge (Crystal) of Colleyville, Texas, Tanner Burge and Clair Burge both of Magnolia, Falan Fronko, Nathaniel Fronko and Alayia Fronko all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ariel Allen (Matt) of Jonesboro, and Dylan Burge of Magnolia; great grandchild, McKenna Burge of Colleyville, Texas; brother Kenneth Zane Gray (Jane) of Magnolia; sisters Yvonne Payne (Jerry) of Gurdon and Ruby Staggs of Edmond, Oklahoma; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9th at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Charles Loyd and Bro. Kenneth Zane Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Philadelphia Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ross Burge, Tanner Burge, Dylan Burge, Matt Allen, Kenny Price, and Tony Russell.
