Francis "Frank" Pratt, age 68, of Berlin Heights, died on January 28, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born on September 13, 1944 in Ashland, PA and has lived in Berlin Heights for over 35 years. He was a graduate of Rio Grande College with a degree in Secondary Education. He had worked as teacher for several years and was also an insurance agent for New York Life. He devoted his retirement years to taking care of his grandchildren and enjoyed attending Edison High School band events. Frank was an avid English Style Dart player. He traveled extensively competing in tournaments and even authored a book on the subject. He was an active Mason, serving as Worshipful Master and Lodge Education Officer of the Marks Lodge in Huron, a plural member of the Gibson Lodge in Wakeman, and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Marsha "Marty" (Klaiber), a daughter Amy Pratt, of Lorain, three grandchildren, Tatiana Pickens, of Berlin Heights, Taryn Pickens, and Todja Stokes, both of Lorain, a sister-in-law Shirley Pratt, of Louisville, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilis W. and Helen M. (Goyne) Pratt, and a brother Willis G. Pratt.
Friends may call on Friday February 1, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. At 7:00 pm the Marks Lodge and Gibson Lodge will conduct Masonic Services followed by services by his brother-in-law, Pastor Larry Klaiber.
