Demosthenes "Demy" Torres was born on July 27, 1935 and passed away on January 24, 2013. He was a resident of Scripps Ranch, located in San Diego, CA. He wanted to be known as an "ordinary guy who served his country." Quiet philanthropists, along with his late wife Perla, Demy sponsored several siblings, their kids and extended family to pursue college and other higher education. Demy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by Mary (daugther), Dean (son) & Christina, and grandchildren Carly (11), Sebastian (9) and Gianna (6).
