Charles D. "Mike" Kreigh, 85, resident of Elyria for the past 15 years, passed away at his home Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was born February 5, 1927 in Danville, PA.

Mike served in the United States Army in 1946-47. He retired from Central Transport (formerly Mohawk Motors) of Brookpark after 30 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Church in Elyria and Local #407 of Brookpark. He was an artist, enjoyed sports and card playing.

Mr. Kreigh is survived by his wife of 58 years Helen (nee Zankofski); children Michael of Columbia, MD, Robert (Nancy) of Parma, Donna Marie (James ) Wingard of Elyria, James of Elyria, Susan Monske (Clifford) of Elyria; grandchildren Matthew Brykalski, Brandon Kreigh, Joshua Bonnett, and Angela Bonnett; many nieces and nephews; brother Harold Kreigh of Danville, PA; sisters Shirley McLaughlin (Bill) of Harrisville, PA and Elmira Kreigh of Florida.

He was preceded in death by an infant grandson Christopher Michael Bonnett; parents Theodore and Elmira Kreigh (nee Mourer); and several siblings.

Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday, December 4 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. Prayer service will be 9:45am at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Wednesday at St. Agnes Church, 611 Lake Avenue. Rev. Albert Veigas, Pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
