CARL D. COLLIER, Sr. Beloved husband of Cheryl Darling (née Klonaris). Dearest stepfather of Carmel Phillips (Michael) and Jillian Certo. Dearest grandfather of Darian Elizabeth Robertson, Taryn Alexis Phillips, Cameron Joseph Phillips, and Austin Michael Phillips. Father of Carl Jr. and Angella. Dearest son of the late Carl W. and Hellen Collier (née Wargo) and Foster son of Margaret Kent (Daniel, deceased). Dear brother of John Collier (Barb) and the following deceased: Darrell Collier, Merrie Collier, Margaret Lewis (Hugh, living) and William J. Collier. Dear foster brother of Connie Aten (Ron) and Claudia Bailey. Carl received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He loved his Bouvier dogs, nature walks, and was a prolific sculptor, painter, creator, and gadget inventor. He loved to learn, and in recent years had begun studying French. A deeply loving man, he dedicated his life to his dearest wife and stepdaughters, his grandchildren, and his foster family. Carl passed away peacefully Monday March 8, 2010. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4334 Pearl Road, Cleveland, from 9:00-10:30am Saturday March 13th. Services will be held at the Funeral Home Saturday at 10:30am following calling hours. Entombment at Brooklyn Heights Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
