Barbara R. Bonner, age 56, of Collins, died on January 16, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky following a brief illness. She was born on March 21, 1956, in Norwalk and has lived in the area her whole life. She was a graduate of St. Paul High School and EHOVE in 1974. She worked as a custodian for Western Reserve School, and prior to that had worked at Freudenberg in Milan. She enjoyed going to garage sales and auctions. Barbara was a member of the Norwalk VFW.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Andrew "Mike" Bonner, a daughter Stephanie (Zach) Morris, of Harrisonburg, VA, a son Tony Bonner and companion Chelsey Paramore, of Norwalk, sisters Patricia (Thomas) Romell, of Monroeville, Diana (Clyde) Boggs, of Monroeville, Linda (Arnold) Ruffing, of Bellevue, Mary Jo (Ronald) Mantz, of Norwalk, two brothers Samuel (Penny) Farmer, of North Fairfield, Michael (Sandy) Farmer, of Vermilion, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Dixie.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Louise (Carnahan) Farmer, a brother John "Jay" Farmer, a niece Brenda Ruffing and a nephew Kody Ross.
Friends may call on Sunday January 27, 2013 from 2:00 pm until the memorial service at 3:00 at the Wakeman Eagles, at the corner of Rt 20 and Rt 60 in Wakeman.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
