Arthur W. "Art" Schempp, 75, of Stow, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Windsong Care Center, Copley.

He was born July 14, 1937 in Cleveland to Elmer and Blanche (Warren) Schempp.

He is survived by his sons, David (Nicolette) Schempp of Chagrin Falls, Aaron T. Schempp of Norfolk, VA, and Eric (Kim) Ledington of Victorville, CA; daughter, Sheri Metz of Longmont, CO; step-daughter, Donna Weisenseel of Atwater, grandchildren, Emilie Dolder, Leah Guyett, Kortney Faust, and Taylor, Austin, & Morgan Ledington.

He was preceded in death by his wife Terry "Sweetheart" Rosado Schempp; parents, Elmer and Blanche Schempp; brother, Dale Schempp, and sister Shirley Stonefeld.

Private Family Services. Interment will be at Silver Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made The Disabled American Veterans, Attention: Gift Processing P. O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-030, to charity of your choice. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
