Alta Rose Randles age 97 had been a resident of Claridon Twp.for over 45 years and Burton for 9 years before moving to Middlefield, died on June 16, 2012 at Briarcliff Manor in Middlefield.
She was born on April 5, 1915 in Chagrin Falls. Alta Nelisse married Ralph A. Randles on December 12, 1937 in Green Springs, Ohio. She was an active member of the Claridon Congregational Church for 62 years, Claridon Study Club, DAR, Hattie Larlham Foundation Auxillary, and had participated and volunteered in a variety of other organizations. She enjoyed writing, traveling, and reading.

Survivors are her daughter, Linda (William) Angstrom of Middlefield; son, Ralph W. (Kathy) Randles of Burton; Grandchildren, William R. Angstrom, Connie (Michael) Hanzlik, Tom (Sally) Blair, Jr., Julie (Jeremy) Hunter, Tim (Mandy) Randles, and Jeff Randles; 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and
brother, Robert Nelisse of Akron

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Randles 0n October 19, 1984; daughter, Evelyn Alexander on January 1, 1987; Granddaughter, Heather Blair on February 15, 1980; sisters, Emma Kovach on June 16, 1980 and Ruth Shumaker on September 17, 1972

Memorial service Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 AM at Claridon Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Rd., (St. Rt, 322 at Charidon Troy Road), Claridon Twp.
