Alice M Pearce, 68, of Rootstown, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 19, 1943 in Kent to Robert and Nellie (Lewis) Swauger. Alice worked at Morse Controls for 32 years. She was a member of the Ravenna Women of the Moose 540. She loved Bowling, Crocheting, and Nascar.
She is survived by her daughters: Tina (Brad) Biggums of Waynesburg, OH, Paula (Bonnie) Pearce of Rootstown; grandchildren, Jessica, Jina, Jaime, Candi, Sam, Brandi (Josh); great grandchildren, Jast, Tyler, Jacob, Isaiah, Jocelynn; brother, Donald (Margaret) Swauger; sister-in-law Pat Swauger; and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard and Bruce Swauger.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Ruby and Mary for their
kindness and support.
Calling hours will be held 4-5 pm Saturday, February 11th 2012 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street, Kent, where funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association Ohio Valley Affiliate, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
