PFEIL
ALOYSIUS L. PFEIL, JR age 87. Beloved husband of the late Catherine "Nan" (nee Battes). Loving father of Tom (Joyce), Jeannie, David (Leann), Patti Hawk (Tom) and Peg Menoes (Tad). Cherished grandfather of many. Brother of the late James Pfeil and Ursula Titus. Uncle and friend of many. U.S. Army WW II Veteran, 4th Armored Div. 248th Combat Engineers. Recipient of Silver Star Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, European, African and Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars, WW II Victory Medal and survivor of campaigns in Normandy, Northern France (Battle of the Bulge), Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace and Central Europe. He was a Lifetime member of the VFW Post 6676, American Legion Post #610, and past member of the Knights of Columbus, (Man of the Year) West Park Council. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 8, 2012 St. John Neumann Church, 16271 Pearl Rd. at 10:30 AM. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Final resting place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
