Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Kurt, Keith, and Karyl,
I am so sorry to read of the passing of your father. He was a friend of my parents, Be and Ollie Rathbun and of our family and a respected principal. Keith, I will forever remember you bringing him out to my house and greenhouse and reminiscing about the old days. I will also cherish the wall candle sconce he gave me and remember him when I look at it. He was a wonderful man! Jody Rathbun Frimel

Mr. Voigt left me with some very special memories. He was my brothers first male teacher in North Ridgeville
and a welcome friendly face. He than became principal at Elizabeth Wilcox School when I entered 5th grade. He always had a special assignment for me helping out in the lower grades making me feel very special. He would again enter my life as I married and had children of my own when they entered the Avon Middle School where he was principal. After his retirement we often greeted each other at the Post Office in Avon. He was present at both my parents funeral visitations. His kindness and teaching skills will always be remembered.
