"Jen, Darian, Marshall and Quinn-you dont know me, but I was a facebook friend of Mikes. We played Texas Hold Em often over the last two years, so I feel I got to know him a little bit. I know he loved all of you very much. He was so proud of his kids...this was always key in our conversations. When I hadnt heard from him in the last few weeks I noticed he was no longer on my friend list and I couldnt find him....and then discovered this notice, which brought me great sadness. Jen, he adored you....I know he was rough around the edges, but he had a heart of gold. We talked when his dad passed away and then some more when he underwent his health issues. Even though I never met him, I considered him a friend. He was the same age as my youngest brother, so I even considered him as a little brother. Above all, he loved his family-there was no question about that. Durf, you will be missed-I will miss seeing the Voodew comments. I will miss talking about his fantasy football standings - he had AP/Vikings. I will miss seeing the videos he would post of his kids. Robyn Renfroe from Minnesota."
