I had not seen Johnny for a number of years, however I'll never forget him in his younger years going to work with his dad. Johnny was always a happy person and very respectful. I was unaware of his illness but am comforted knowing that he is at rest now. He truly was a fine young man. May God Bless the Sawtell family during these difficult times.

I cannot even imagine how hard this is for you both. Your strength inspires us. Unfortunately, we only had the privilege of meeting your dad one time but he made a profound impression. Johnny had many adventures in his grand life. He has made friends and memories from all over this country and has been loved by all who knew him...He was gracious, kind, and loved to laugh...He was an all star in his youth and as he suffered in the months and days before his death. We will always remember the little blonde, blue-eyed, super little boy he was. He grew into a fine, vibrant, fun-loving adult who loved his children more than anything. These past three years brought him so much pain and suffering, we are happy he is finally at rest. May his family find peace.

I was deeply saddened today when I learned of Johnny's death.What a great childhood friend and even a better man he grew into. Thanks for my first tractor ride.. My mom always called him Blue eyes.. you will be missed,prayers and condolences to the Sawtell family
