Thank you, Miss Mary, for being such a wonderful and beautiful friend to my mom. Your spirit fills our house with many trinkets that you gave us. It is comforting to know you are watching over us as an angel that you always were and will always be.

Mary was the sweetest person I have known. I was honored and blessed that she drifted into my life. She was intelligent, strong, had a sharp sense of humor, kind, and so graceful in speech and action. A true lady. She showed such respect to others and loved her Lord. Oh, the stories she could tell! Mary was a gracious and kind person with a warm spirit, a keen mind, a strong fiber and a charming wit. It was a privilege to work with her at Richland Library. As expected, she was very stalwart and courageous in the face of illness when I spoke with her last. I admired her greatly and I will miss her very much. Her absence from terra firma is a great loss for us all. My sympathy to her devoted family of whom she spoke so lovingly and often. Warren Hughes

I loved her and will miss her. My deepest sympathy to all who loved and admired her. She was one of the strongest women I have ever known. She had a wonderful way of just obseving life's absurdities and noting things without losing her moral compass. She was funny, smart and kind. She was a class act and a real lady in the best definition of that term.
