Dr. Milne performed miraculous surgery on both of my eyes; replacing them with artificial lenses. He also prayed before each surgery and was someone to whom I will be evr grateful.

I moved up here from Eastover SC beginning of January. I only heard last week of Dr Milne's passing.
I was stunned. I knew of his struggle with the cancer and we would speak briefly about it. Dr Milne performed my two cataract surgeries in 2011 followed by a PRK procedure a few months later. I adored him and his gentle Godly manner. One thing that struck me about him was his ability to always remember who I was each time

Thank you for your Christian work. I was blessed to have you as a Doctor. It touched my heart that we prayed before I went under your knife. What a kind and gentle man. I can't wait til the 2nd coming when Christ calls us our of your grave to meet him in the Clouds, what a great day that will be to see eachother in Heaven. To know that we will have 20/20 again. Praise God.

I learned of Dr. Milne's passing just yesterday, and I have to say I was very saddened. On my first visit with Dr. Milne, I thought, here is a Gentle Giant. As others have posted, he also performed corrective eye surgery on me, and gave me a teddy bear to hold. Such a simple act. Then came the words..."Do you mind if we pray?" At that moment, I knew I had come to the right place for my surgery. He

To the Family of Dr. Milne,

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Milne. I was a former patient for corrective eye surgery and never forgot that prior to the surgery Dr. Milne led everyone in prayer giving the glory to God. I knew then I was in good hands. I believe the obituary when it read that Dr. Milne devoted his life to serving his Lord and Savior and serving people.

May light perpetual shine upon you Dr. Milne.

I'm saddedend to hear about the passing of Dr Henry Ludwig Milne III.
Lisa often spoke about him in class and I got to learn quite a bit about a wide range medical issues based on talks he had with Lisa and the way she related those discussions to whatever topic she was handling at the time.
Lisa spoke very fondly about her brother who was a doctor, and it really touched me to hear that he had passed.
I pray that our Father's everlasting arms will comfort the family during this difficult time.

Dear Teresa and family,

Jane and I are so profoundly sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was one of the finest Christian men, I've ever known. I regret that I had not been in communication with y'all to know Rick's health had worsened. I know our Father in heaven welcomed his faithful servant. I look forward to a reunion in heaven where we will all have forever to be together.

I was a patient of Dr. Rick for many many years. His gentle spirit and kind demeanor and soft spoken voice were very comforting when I needed eye surgery. And he prayed with me before surgery which showed me he really cared about his patients.

God Speed Dr. Rick!

I just learned on Saturday that Dr. Milne had passed away. I was so shocked. He performed Lasik surgery on me in 2001 when I was 37 years old. Having had to wear coke bottle glasses since the age of 2, I was so happy to finally have 20/20 vision and not have to deal with corrective lenses anymore.
He prayed with me before the surgery and that set my heart at ease. He also gave me a teddy bear to hold which was a special touch.
My deepest sympathy to his family, friends, staff and church family.
With Love,
Lisa Meserve
