I was a fellow hospital staff member with Dr. Sherry for many years and came to respect him for his intellectual approach to pathology as well as a good friend. John served as Chair of our Pathology Department during most of his career. While here in Waynesboro, both myself and my wife came to know John as an excellent bridge player and a wonderful host in our get-togethers in each others homes.
Although we have not seen John for many years,

So sorry to hear about Dr Sherry. He was a gentleman and I always wished I worked for him. He had a good way with people. I worked in Nutrition and usually saw him every day. God Bless you all.

Well my love you are finally free.
What fond memories I have or our times together. The laughs, the joys, the sorrow we shared.
You have been a part of my life for so long. I remember the times that you sat my brother David and me, when we were so young, on the couch on the farm in Ontario making us listen to Aida and how we hated having to sit there and listen to it in Itailian. Funny how now,
