Memories & Candles
Annie and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We have a lot of good memories that we talk about often that were with you Annie and John. Mike talks a lot about GSA when he worked with John. Although, we lost touch over the years our thoughts of you and your family have been with us always. The memories we have of all of you will be with us forever.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal"
Love Always,
Mike and Bev Bauer

I just recently found out about this terribly sad news and am so very sorry for your loss. Although our military family can be sent in many directions, we try to stay in touch with a click or a phone call.
John, I had the priviledge of working with you for over 2 years as the Supt for VM and indirectly for another 4 years and was so inspired by you. I respected and appreciated the relationships you

How very sad I am to hear this news. John was wonderful childhood and teenage friend. We shared many a bus ride, Sunday School class, laughs, and good times. (Even picking rocks). I want to express my deepest and heartfelt sympathies to all of you. John, you obviously continued to serve your Lord and family throughout your life. What a great legacy.

Dear Annie & Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are for you this day. We know John & you, Annie, to be faithful believers in Christ, so rest in the promise that God's watching over you all (perhaps with a little coaching from John). We're remembering John for his kind & gentle ways and dedicated service to West Olive Church of Christ; a gentleman always. He'll find his reward in Heaven & we'll all be left with some special memories.

oh how I miss you my love, the days are dreary and the nights are long. You will forever live in my heart and I will always cherish what we had for 38 years just wish we could have lots more. Someday we will be together again but till then your legacy of love will live on through me, your wonderful kids and our grandchildren. I love you sweetheart

What can I say John, you were a great trainer and mentor to me as I transisitioned to working at CSC with you. You were always soft spoken and easy going and I will never forget our numerous conversations about cars and general topics especially the story about your theory on the dump. I was honored when you asked me to MC your retirement ceremony and a few months ago and was looking forward to hearing from you time to

You are very much missed and I love you. Thanks for being the best brother a person can have. I have many fond memories of growing up with you and in the years since then. May God hold you and your family in the palm of his hand. Until we me again, know that you are loved and missed.

We only new you for a few short years but felt like a life time. We always enjoyed our Friday night dinners together when we were wintering in Phoenix. May god be with you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Sincerely
Rick and Cheryl Franklund
